RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be part of an aggressive, entrepreneurial group engaged in promoting, marketing and selling Global Rescue to membership organizations, Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies, strategic partners and individuals
  • Lead Global Rescue’s PR and Media initiatives through the establishment and maintenance of relationships with local, regional, industry and national publications
  • Supply content and relevant stories, news and information to these contacts successfully influencing the placement of Global Rescue mission summaries, operational activities and  general interest stories in blogs, weekly, monthly and annual publications, electronic and traditional print
  • Manage Global Rescue communications and social media: blogs, twitter, facebook, Global Rescue.com website, advertising placements, retail and corporate brochures and collateral materials
  • Manage the Global Rescue brand and help create a consistent brand voice
  • Assist in product messaging efforts
  • Participate in communications projects, serve on project teams, primarily the marketing and graphic departments, sales and operations divisions
  • Create and maintain weekly and monthly reporting

 

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree plus 4+ years of experience in marketing communications, online marketing and/or public relations
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive, established media relationships regionally, nationally and in relevant sports and adventure travel areas
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Highly energetic and motivated to succeed
  • Ability to thrive and stand out in a fast paced environment
  • Efficient time management and organizational skills
