Professional advancement programs in action.

The Pub Club provides its members with a variety of services. In addition to sponsoring monthly programs that benefit you, the communications professional, and the public relations profession as a whole, the Pub Club also maintains this web site, distributes monthly newsletters, develops an up-to-date job bank and membership roster, and produces it's annual Bell Ringer Awards Competition.

Since its start, the Pub Club's goals have been to promote and encourage the profession of public relations; to promulgate a code of ethics, standards, and a fair practice under which its members operate; and, most importantly, to create in New England, a community of persons engaged in the practice of public relations and to provide a forum for the discussion of the challenges and opportunities affecting them. We exist to make your public relations career more rewarding, successful, and fun.

These goals are carried out in the content of this web site and the activities planned by this year's Board of Directors, including:

• Monthly programs to enhance your career and your professional and media contacts;

• Informal Pub Club events for socializing and networking;

• The monthly "Bell Ringer" newsletter; and

• The prestigious Bell Ringer Awards (now in it's 38th year).
