A Message from the President

Happy Spring!

The temperatures are rising, Kenmore Square is hopping and daffodils are blooming … all sure signs that spring is finally here!

For the Pub Club, that means our Board of Directors is busy preparing for the June Bell Ringer Awards and hosting a bunch of great programs for our members.

 As we head into the final two months of preparations for the Bells, I wanted to share a few exciting updates and reminders for all participants.

SPECIAL AWARDS

The deadline to submit nominations for our special awards is quickly approaching!

All special award recipients will be honored at the 2010 Bell Ringer Awards Ceremony on Monday, June 7, 2010, from 6–10 p.m. at The Westin, Waltham. The deadline to submit your nominations/applications for each award is Monday, May 3, 2010.

 JUDGING

We are very fortunate this year to introduce a judging exchange program with the Publicity Club of Chicago. More than 20 volunteers from their membership are assisting in judging the Bells this year. Our Co-Executive Directors, Kelly Woodsum and Katie Sullivan, have worked very closely with their group to coordinate this program and it promises to be a terrific success.
