The Senior Account Representative must share a passion for technology and provide “radical” success to clients that lead to a radically successful agency

This person is a self-starter that supports multiple senior staff members on the tactical implementation of strategic programs designed to create and maintain a positive image for the agency’s clients.  Program elements may include media and analyst relations, social media engagement, event promotion and support, drafting and editing press materials, and researching and securing speaking opportunities.  The Senior Account Representative must be committed to continuous improvement and expanding their leadership skills and possess the ability to develop and build consensus on creative concepts.

 

Responsibilities:   Specific day-to-day description of the job

  • Have a passion for and develop a thorough understanding of our clients’ products and services and the industries in which they serve
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Draft and edit PR materials that are compelling and consistently communicate defined key messages
  • Facilitate outreach to the editorial and analyst communities to secure positive editorial coverage
  • Engage in social media activities to promote clients’ products and services
  • Research and pursue editorial calendar, speaking, and award opportunities
  • Prepare timely and compelling reports for client programs
  • Develop briefing materials and facilitate meetings as directed
  • Research and participate in new business development
  • Create and manage  media and analyst lists
  • Participate in client meetings

 

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in public relations, communications or related field
  • 2-4 years of media relations or communications experience in corporate or agency environment
  • Demonstrable results in traditional (print and electronic) and social media
  • Excellent writing and verbal communications skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • B2B technology experience preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and other MS software applications
