Scholarships

The Publicity Club of New England awards the annual William M. Cavanaugh student grant of $1,000 each Spring as part of our mission to foster a community of public relations professionals. The grant application is open to juniors or seniors studying in an accredited journalism, public relations or communications program at a New England college. A recommendation by an internship/work supervisor or faculty member who has extensive knowledge of the student's abilities, work ethic and anticipated career path must accompany the application.

  • Do you know a college junior or senior who's majoring in journalism, communications, or public relations?

  • Is the intern in your office worthy of recognition beyond your company walls?

  • Are you graduating and thinking that $1,000 in your pocket could go a long way to paying of your school loans or buying that interview suit?

The Publicity Club is looking for that one special student to receive the 2010 William M. Cavanaugh $1,000 Student Grant. To be eligible, the applicant should be a junior or senior studying in an accredited journalism, public relations, or communications program at a New England college. A recommendation by an internship/work supervisor or faculty member who has extensive knowledge of the student's abilities, work ethic, and anticipated career path must accompany the application.
