2008 William M. Cavanaugh $1,000 Student Grant

The Publicity Club of New England awards the annual William M. Cavanaugh student grant of $1,000 each spring as part of our mission to foster a community of public relations professionals. The grant application is open to juniors or seniors studying in an accredited journalism, public relations or communications program at a New England college. A recommendation by an internship/work supervisor or faculty member who has extensive knowledge of the student's abilities, work ethic and anticipated career path must accompany the application.

• Do you know a college junior or senior who's majoring in journalism, communications, or public relations?

• Is the intern in your office worthy of recognition beyond your company walls?

• Are you graduating and thinking that $1,000 in your pocket could go a long way to paying of your school loans or buying that interview suit?

The Publicity Club is looking for that one special student to receive the 2008 William M. Cavanaugh $1,000 Student Grant. To be eligible, the applicant should be a junior or senior studying in an accredited journalism, public relations, or communications program at a New England college. A recommendation by an internship/work supervisor or faculty member who has extensive knowledge of the student's abilities, work ethic, and anticipated career path must accompany the application. The application and supporting material should be completed in full and submitted electronically to the Publicity Club of New England's Scholarship Coordinators by submitting the following application by 5:00 p.m. on Friday May 9th, 2008.
