To my fellow Pub Club members:

I hope this finds you enjoying the last few weeks of summer as we officially close out another spectacular year for the Publicity Club of New England.  I am thrilled to report that we are ending the 2010-2011 season in a very strong financial position, which will allow the organization to continue to grow and offer even more valuable benefits to our members for years to come.

Yet, the financial health of the Club if just one of the many success stories we have to tell about this year.  Here are just a few other highlights of the many achievements we realized:

Like many organizations, we at the Pub Club declared this year The Year we’d dive into Social Media.

Armed with a talented group of board members representing the best and brightest from New England, we identified several areas where we could make a big splash. We launched a blog, opened a Twitter account, and created not one, but two Facebook pages. We also implemented a continuing Social Media workshop series with an ambitious calendar of 5 events for the 2009-2010 programming season.
