Where do you work and what is your title?
Account Director at 360 Public Relations
What is your Twitter handle?
Briefly summarize your background.
I have worked in PR for my entire career, starting here at 360PR more than 8 years ago. The client work I have touched in that time spans many different industries, including travel, entertainment, consumer electronics, toys, gaming, alcohol/spirits, and so much more.
What kind of industry/clients do you work with?
I work on the fun stuff! The majority of my current client list are in video games, toys and alcohol/spirits. Most of my friends don’t think what I do is even work, so I have to assure them that I am not just playing video games all day.
Describe what you do for Pub Club.
I have served on the Board of Directors for the Pub Club for the past couple of years, and I recently stepped into the role of VP of Membership to work to grow our member-base. I’d encourage everyone to check out our revamped membership benefits!
Name your top three favorite things about PR.
I’d have to say that my top favorite things about PR are:
- The constant collaboration within my agency and with my clients.
- The ever-changing nature of the business; there’s always something new to be tried.
- My clients and their products; seriously, how would it be possible to not enjoy working on video games and alcohol/spirits.
Do you have a childhood moment when everyone knew you’d be a communications specialist?
If they were being honest, I’m sure most of my grade school teachers would have been able to call this from the sheer amount of times I was told to stop talking in class…
What is your top getaway destination?
I recently traveled to Australia for an exchange program with an agency partner (Hello to my friends at The Red Republic!), and that was by far the most amazing trip of my life. However it’s tough to call Australia a “getaway destination” given the 24 hours of travel each way, so I’d have to say South Florida or Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
If you could take a client to any restaurant in Boston where would you go?
That’s a tough one since there are so many great restaurants in Boston. I enjoy having sushi with clients since it’s such a social experience, so I’m going with Douzo in the Back Bay.
