New Categories and Opportunities for Agencies, In-House and Independent Practitioners
BOSTON — Jan. 9, 2018 — The Publicity Club of New England (Pub Club), the region’s oldest association for communications professionals, today opened submissions for the 50th Annual Bell Ringer Awards (Bells). The Pub Club’s board of directors encourages public relations, marketing, and communications professionals who are based in New England or who manage communications for New England-based companies to submit original work to the competition for a chance to earn recognition and be showcased at the Bells awards show.
This year’s special 50th Bell Ringer Awards show will take place June 13, 2018 at The State Room in Boston. The gala will pay tribute to the Pub Club’s rich history while also showcasing today’s ground-breaking work through videos and visual representations to illustrate the “how” and “why” behind winning campaigns. The event will also feature a three-course dinner prepared by Chef David Blessing and spectacular views of Boston.
With nearly 50 categories up for grabs – which reflect the rapidly changing industry – this year’s Bells present even greater opportunities to promote and celebrate New England’s best PR and marketing campaigns. Bell Ringer Awards judges, who represent a wide range of communications leadership roles and industries, come from agencies, media organizations, corporations, and nonprofits. Their collective experiences and successes represent the best of the industry and make them uniquely qualified to judge the awards.
“The awards competition draws fresh, head-turning PR and marketing projects, programs, and campaigns that not only impress clients but also generate remarkable results,” said Cheryl Gale, president of the Publicity Club of New England and managing partner and co-founder of March Communications. “During this pinnacle year for the Pub Club, we are thrilled to bring the 50th Bells to The State Room, where guests will receive only the best in service, entertainment, and city views while we reflect on how far we’ve come and usher in the next era of communication excellence in New England.”
