Ever find yourself wondering, “Should I use a comma here?” Or, perhaps you’re ready for a primer or refresher on communications writing. Good news! The PR Club (formerly The Publicity Club of New England) has rescheduled our “Summer School” session on writing fundamentals to Sept. 19. (That’s still summer, right?)
Our instructor, Michael Dowding, an accomplished freelance writer and ghostwriter of six books for executive authors, will help attendees tackle passive voice, ace AP style, and master the fundamentals of great writing. He’ll cover what it takes to raise your game: content, structure, and mechanics. Michael has taught PR and communications writing at Boston University for more than 20 years and loves to help fellow writers develop their skills.
The session includes dinner and networking time and runs from 6 – 8:15 p.m. on Sept. 19 at Boston University’s College of Communication. Register here.
