Save the Date: NESN’s Jenny Johnson to Host Bell Ringer Awards Ceremony at The House of Blues

You’ve submitted your entries, and now the countdown to the 47th Annual Bell Ringer Awards Ceremony begins. Today we are excited to share that Emmy Award Winning Producer and Co-Host of NESN’s Dining Playbook, Jenny Johnson will host the “The Bells” on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the House of Blues in Boston, MA from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

“Jenny’s infectious personality is the perfect match to host our annual Bell Ringer Awards Ceremony at this year’s new and exciting location,” said Kristin Allaben, president of the Publicity Club of New England for the 2014-2015 season. “She’s not only an award-winning producer and TV personality, but a hard-working, Massachusetts native who often gives back to her community through her support of a number of non-profit organizations. We’re thrilled to have her host our event this year.”

Johnson co-hosts NESN’s Dining Playbook Saturdays at 9:00AM and Sundays at 9:00PM with Billy Costa. Johnson is also the host of “Comcast Newsmakers” Previously she was the Executive Producer and Co-Host of NECN’s “TV Diner,” the Entertainment Reporter for NECN.

For this year’s charity recipient, Jenny has selected the Pan-Mass Challenge, a cause she’s been advocating for years as a three time rider in the 192 mile bike ride to raise money for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the Jimmy Fund.
